Have always had a good experience here. Clean, friendly enough staff (after all I'm not here to make friends), and never have had issues with their speed in making sandwiches. I've been to friendlier locations, but like I said not here to make friends...just eat.

We have been here 5 times in the last 2 months for dinner and lunch and EVERY time they have been out of white bread. How does a sub place run out of white bread so much??? We will NEVER go back here again. we would rather make the drive to Elburn and the people there are a lot friendlier!!

One hot summer day, my sister and I had the genius idea to walk to this Subway. Approximately one hour and 3.5 miles later, we arrived. Upon entering, this place was filthier than we were from walking the Great Western Trail. Wrappers from straws, olives, and crumbs galore littered almost every single table. Two unenthused teenagers emerged from the back room, and one of them apprehensively approached us. We placed our orders and went to get our drinks...and the ice machine was broken. I asked the young man if there was anything he could do, and he told me to "just keep pushing on it", which did not work. At this time more people entered the store, so we sat down less ice in our drinks. The food itself was pretty standard, obviously subway is about quality control like all chains but the bread was a little crusty (stale) and the toppings were somewhat sparse. Overall I definitely would walk the opposite way toward the Randall rd. location to get a better sandwich from a more enthused staff. What turned me off the most was the overall unclean atmosphere. It's too bad because I used to prefer this location.

Where do I begin?? I have gone to this location numerous times over the past 3 years and on many occasions I should have written a negative review but I did not follow through due to lack of time and ultimately putting it off. Every time I have regretted not writing the review. I guess I hoped that it would improve. This Subway is in such a great location - - it is truly a shame that they can't get their act together. The following is a list of repeated offenses: 1) The staff is so extremely rude and unprofessional. There is an older woman that works there (that I assume is the manager). She has reddish bottle dyed hair. EVERY time we have been there she has been unfriendly and appears to care less about her customers. There is also an approx 30 year old male that works there that I assume is her son. He is also very unfriendly. Quite frankly, they both seem highly annoyed and impatient every time. What prompted me to write the review today is that two teenagers (or what I would refer to as complete punks) were working there today and were unprofessional on many levels. 1a) one of them snapped at my 12 year old when she didn't hear him ask her what size bread. He very rudely and impatiently asked her again what size bread she wanted. Keep in mind there were no customers behind us. 1b) both of them were very impatient with asking us the ingredients on each sandwich. 1c) the fountain drink machine had no carbonation in it. I first thought it was just the Diet Coke so I told one of the teenagers that it needed to be changed. Nothing was done. 1d) In the meantime a customer goes through the line ordering a sandwich and one of the teenagers tells him in a very offensive manner that he can't be on the phone while he's ordering a sandwich. After that customer left, the two teenagers sit down with some of their friends. 1e) Next a female customer complains that there is no carbonation in the fountain machine (refer to 1c) and the 2 teenagers start discussing in an annoyed matter how they can't fix it. All the while, one of them is still sitting with his friends snickering with them about the issue. One of them said we'll try to fix it to the woman who was complaining and the other snickered under his breath "NOT." 2) The place is not as clean as it should be. It does not have a sanitized feel to it. 3) It is not uncommon to go there and something be out of order. We have experienced the fountain machine, credit card processor, ice machine, and air conditioning not working (not all at once thank goodness). If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Pathetic. It is pretty bad when your kids have to ask you why the workers in that Subway are always rude.

Went there with my young son today. They looked befuddled when I asked for the ham and cheese sandwich for the kids meal. No buns so he had to have the huge piece of bread - fine. When he asked the angry manager for the 'Inside Out' bag, she barked at me 'Well did you buy a kids meal?? '. I said no because they had no kids buns for the sandwich. 'Well you will have to pay $1.87 for the bag!!' I did as my son was scared of her and her raising her voice. Won't be going back there, ever. Oh and here's a tip, scary manager - try washing your hair every now and again and go to the dentist. And wipe down your tables more than once a week - there was spinach dried to the seats. Gross.

I was not even going to write a review but I ate here yesterday and ate Jersey Mike's today BIG difference. This particular location may just have the worst service of any Subway I have ever been to. No efficiency - took over a half hour to get a sandwich with only 5 people in front of me.
